Awoken Forms is a collaboration with myself and Sydney based SJB Architects to celebrate their 40 years in practice.
Thematically the projection art encapsulates SJB's passions — architecture, interiors, urban design & planning.
These areas of expertise are represented by structured geometric forms and landscapes. Additionally, the work incorporates sensuous, flowing fabric to further reference the creative culture inherent to SJB's wonderful new home, Melbourne.
I chose a colour palette which reflects not only the site specific nature of it this work, the rich, saturated neon colours of Oliver Lane, but also seasonal hues to represent Melbourne’s reputation as the fashion capital of Australia.
